Simon Sprengel
CTO – Technical lead, printing process and system integration
Simon Sprengel (he/him) advanced electrochemical deposition at the nanoscale over several years from the physical principle to a working laboratory setup and is one of the two inventors of the technology. He studied chemistry (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and is currently pursuing a Dr.-Ing. in electrochemical additive manufacturing. At NanoXion he leads the technical side of the printing process, instrumentation and control: further development of the print head, integration of positioning, sensors and optical navigation, and the construction of the prototype for demonstrations and pilot applications.
